
On October 16th, 2022, the 20th National Party Congress of the Chinese Communist Party was kicked off. In relation to the Party Congress, Hans Henrik Pontoppidan, Secretary General of DCBF, was invited to participate in the radio programme ”Verden kalder” at R4dio to discuss whether Denmark should “close the door” to China or not.
The quarterly Danish Business Outlook on China (DBOC) has been released for Q2, 2022.

We are happy to announce the publication of the second Survey of Danish Companies in China in collaboration with the Embassy of the Kingdom of Denmark in Beijing, the Danish Chamber of Commerce in China and the Sino-Danish Center for Education and Research.
The first survey of Danish companies in China was published in June 2020, covering Danish companies’ activities in China. This second survey provides an updated snapshot of the perception of Danish companies’ activities in China. Among the main findings are:

On the 28th of April 2022, Danish-Chinese Business Forum successfully executed this year’s Annual General Meeting. For the first time since 2019, the event was held with physical attendance, and took place at BESTSELLER A/S in Aarhus. Lise Kaae, CEO of HEARTLAND A/S on behalf of BESTSELLER A/S welcomed the participants in Aarhus as well as online, together with Chairman of DCBF, Tom Behrens-Sørensen.
