IFU – The Industrialisation Fund for Developing Countries advises and invests with Danish companies in Africa, Asia, Latin America and Europe. Investments are made on commercial terms in the form of share capital and loans to project companies, and the purpose is to promote economic and social development in the investment countries. Advice is provided from IFU’s head office in Copenhagen and on location through our regional offices in China, India, South Africa, Kenya, Ghana and Egypt.
In cooperation with more than 500 Danish companies, IFU has made just above 750 investments in 85 developing countries. Total investment is close to EUR 14 billion and in a single investment IFU can contribute with risk capital from EUR 100.000 to EUR 14 million.
IFU has more than 25 years of experience investing in China and in total IFU has made 117 investments with large Danish companies like Carlsberg, Vestas and Lundbeck as well as with many small and medium sized companies.
The investment in China covers a broad range of industries such as production, agriculture, wind energy, cleantech, information technology, retail and the medical industry.
IFU is currently engaged in close to 50 companies in China.

IFU目前在华参与投资的企业数量接近50家。
